Restoring Hope. Building Strength. Reining Free.

Physical Therapy

Led by licensed doctor of physical therapy, Sarah Long, our therapy program is designed for children and individuals with disabilities who benefit from movement, balance, and sensory input.

The unique rhythm and warmth of the horse’s movement provides a dynamic, multi-dimensional experience that cannot be replicated in a clinic setting.

Each step of the horse naturally engages the rider’s core, balance, and coordination while promoting postural strength and body awareness.

Beyond the physical, the partnership with the horse invites emotional growth — nurturing confidence, courage, and joy in a way that feels natural and empowering.

Every session is tailored to the individual’s goals, whether that’s improving mobility, building endurance, increasing social engagement, or simply finding a sense of calm connection through the gentle motion of the horse.

Family and Community Support

Reining Free Ranch is more than a therapy center — it’s a place of belonging. Families are invited to be part of the journey, not just as observers but as valued members of a supportive, faith-based community.

We understand that caring for a loved one with special needs can be both rewarding and challenging. That’s why we offer opportunities for rest, encouragement, and connection — from family involvement days to seasonal gatherings that celebrate the small victories that mean so much.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of the ranch. Whether leading horses, assisting during sessions, tending to animals, or helping with ranch maintenance, each volunteer plays an essential role in our mission of hope and healing.

No previous horse or therapy experience is required — only a willing heart and the desire to make a difference. Training and mentorship are provided to help volunteers feel confident and equipped.

When you serve at Reining Free Ranch, you’re not just giving your time — you’re becoming part of a story of transformation.

Ministry Thru Movement

Every aspect of Reining Free Ranch reflects our belief that healing is holistic — physical, emotional, and spiritual. Through the gentle partnership of horses and the steadfast love of Christ, we witness lives being changed, one ride, one step, one heartbeat at a time.

Special Events & Birthday Celebrations

Life is meant to be celebrated! We host unique events that bring families and the community together, offering joyful experiences alongside our therapy and animal programs.

For instance, we recently held a fundraising birthday party for a brave 2-year-old girl cancer survivor, where our miniature horse Dolly joined in the celebration. These events are more than fun gatherings; they are opportunities to inspire hope, share stories of resilience, and strengthen community bonds.

Horse Care & Advocacy Programs

Education and advocacy are at the heart of our mission. Through workshops and demonstrations, we teach safe horse handling, proper nutrition, and the importance of responsible stewardship.

These events are hands-on and open to all ages, helping participants learn empathy, patience, and confidence — values that extend far beyond the ranch gates.

Community Impact & Outreach

Reining Free Ranch partners with local schools, churches, and organizations to provide meaningful experiences that educate, uplift, and support families. Whether through therapy sessions, volunteer opportunities, or special events, we aim to create a ripple effect of hope, kindness, and growth in our community.

Every program and event is guided by our belief that healing is holistic — physical, emotional, and spiritual — and that connection with people, animals, and God’s creation can transform lives in profound ways.
